The 12,000 SF training facility features a sophisticated telecommunications infrastructure which enables a wide variety of events to take place. There are voice and data connections throughout the space, enabling telephones and/or computers to be connected to facilitate software training for example. There is a sophisticated audio/visual system which enables any type of media to be played or projected. Visual presentations can be viewed by a combination or the two drop-down projection screens and/or through 3 plasma monitors.
The center features a dedicated reception, coatroom and restroom and pantry facilities for event use only. The center has the architectural motif of a “wave of motion” as evidenced by the undulating ceiling in the main training room and the wave-patterned, perforated wall panels in the corridor. With a layout emphasizing flexibility, the space can accommodate large and small groups equally well. Depending on the seating arrangement, it can house from 250-550 people, and the main room can be split into tow or three smaller spaces. An audio/visual room overlooks the main room to control presentations behind the scenes. The Center also has three adjacent break-out rooms, which are currently configured classroom style with long tables.
